Info on L-Arginine

It was exactly what I was looking for.
I’d suggest that anyone start with 500mg of each and give it a while to work.
I have tried a larger amount of L-arginine and L-lysine for close to a year and am very impressed with many of the indepth answers on PE.
Haven’t looked into Ornithine yet, but I’m going to.

Still taking the multi now.
Look on the vitamin container which will indicate the form of niacin.
As I recall, it takes unphysiological amounts of at least 6 to 10 g per dose (6g=6000mg) to trigger GH.
I look forward to participating on this board, and am very satisfied with the results.
I wanna know if I understood the entire info on the bottle right.
Perhaps the research was looking for immediate effects on erections, and not considering the long term effects at all.
500 to 1000mg/d will have no effect.
Merlin It says it right here on the bottle: “Niacin may cause a temporary flushing reaction in certain individuals”.

Don’t know that the ornithine is needed either, as I have read that you need a hell of a lot more L-arginine to have any effect on hgh production.
Fyi, I take 500 mg morning and evening-great flush!
I see a lot of other guys posting about 1000 to 3000mg or so per day.
Years ago, I was told by someone that was really into vitamins, that there are two types of niacin.
I don’t know if certain guys will benefit from the larger doses or just piss it out.
Have you tried nicotinic acid (niacin) a good peripheral vasodialator giving a great flush?

Regards, Merlin Merlin, I used to take a B-Complex tab that contained 100% DV of niacin (along with the niacin at 100% DV in my multi) before I started the L-arginine.
Here is a medically tested program: 250-500mg of arginine 500-750mg of lysine (to combat arginine’s herpes induction) 250-500mg of ornithine (arginine needs ornithine to produce growth hormones) Please don’t assume that the more you take the better you’ll heal/gain.
Do you know anything about this?
If I stop taking the supps, I notice a gradual decrease in the quality and quantity of my erections.
One that causes flushing and one that isn’t as bad.
And Vigorplex has enough Niacin to make you look like a beet :) Not to mention the extra boost added by the L-arginine and yohimbe.

About the hgh thing, I have not found any info on it, in connection with above mentioned supps.
Also anyone taking ANDRO should be aware that although it will increase the level of testosterone, your body will naturally try to combat this by creating estrogen.

The L-arginine is a dilator and works well to counter the effects of the constrictors, for me anyway.
Per arginine and its impact on the erection mechanism, we are talking about needing on the order of 5g to induce effects, 500 to 1000 mg will be of no value.
It can cause an over-accumulation of hormones which in turn creates more side effects than benefits.

As you might know estrogen can lead to the development of “bitch tits” and shrunken testicles.
Merlin Merlin, I have proof in hand, so to speak, that 500mg of L-arginine works, if taken regularly.
The site shows ativity today, so it may be a temporary thing.

I found this one on a different forum.
I read the original research paper on the effect of arginine and ornithine per inducition of pituitary GH (growth hormone)production.
So far it’s working great.
How is the new stuff working out?
Straight niacin would probably be tame for you now.
Arginine is a better choice for healing your unit; however if you want the full effect of taking arginine you should take it along with ornithine and lysine.
