Causes of infertility
One of six couples are confronting the infertility problem, but nobody can explain the real reason of this. An American researcher team discovered that 2 genes, called “egg 1″ and “egg 2″, are responsible for the fertility, and the absence of those two goes to a fertility failure
There are some circumstances that can affect sperm’s grade, and, implicit, decrease the chances to obtain a pregnancy:
- - the most common one is the existence of a dilated vein that can affect the temperature of testicles ,
- - infections,
- - chemotherapy,
- - childhood disease- that sometimes can bring sterility,
- - some surgical interventions, as hernia
- - injury
- - some medicine,
- - exposing to chemicals or rays,
- - alcohol, cigarettes, drugs,
- - a wrong diet, and not enough sleep,
- - excessive hot around body,
- - too many or too less sexual relations.
- - also, the air pollution affects sperm quality, but this is only a temporary problem- when the subject is removed from polluted area, the structure of the sperm is returning to normal limits.
Infertility can also result from a birth condition (congenital), or acquired.
Causes of the condition can be classified as:
- - primary- disruption in the testicles (two small organs below the penis, part of the male reproductive system),
- - secondary- disruption in the pituitary gland (a roundish organ that lies beneath the hypothalamus and secrets hormones)
- - tertiary- disruption in the hypothalamus ( an organ that controls body temperature, hunger, thirst and circadian cycles).
If there has been no results after one year of trying, it is recommended to consult a specialist, because all those circumstances affects the testosterone level, problem that can be sometime fixed by some treatments.
